Dr. Diane Storer Brown PhD, RN, FNAHQ, FAAN
Dr. Diane Brown is a founding leader and senior scientist with the Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes (CALNOC) and has spent the last 23 years developing nurse-sensitive measure sets for bench-marking nursing quality. She is also a leader for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California, where her current role is as the Executive Director for Medicare Strategy and Operations. In this role she is responsible for leadership of an integrated program to transform care enabling our aging population to live well and have access to affordable quality health care. Dr. Brown’s research endeavors have focused on building capacity for nursing quality and safety measurement, research that examines nursing care, and translating emerging research findings to directly improve practice.
