Bridget Carter has been a nurse for over 25 years. She started her career at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN working on an inpatient Neuroscience Unit. In 2005, Bridget transferred to a telephonic Disease Management Program which fueled her passion for telehealth. In 2008 after completion of her master’s degree, Bridget’s dream job presented itself, a Telehealth Nursing Education Specialist. Since then, Bridget has focused her efforts on telehealth nursing and triage nursing. Bridget is actively involved with the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) and has participated on two different task forces related to telehealth nursing.
