Kristene Grayem is the vice president of population health management at Akron Children’s Hospital. She has more than twenty-five years of leadership and practice experience in outpatient and inpatient settings. Kris received her BSN and her MSN from the University of Akron. She currently serves as Immediate Past President on the Board of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN). Kris has significant experience creating and implementing Ambulatory Shared Governance; constructing ambulatory infrastructures that support clinical quality; and synergistically promotes inpatient and outpatient nursing collaboration to obtain positive patient outcomes. As a nurse practitioner, she has been successful in promoting and influencing evidence-based practices in ambulatory care. Kris has demonstrated success in bringing multidisciplinary teams together to collectively improve the delivery of nursing care, the patient experience, and clinical excellence in her areas.
