Kristene Grayem serves as the chief population health officer for Akron Children’s Hospital (ACH) and the executive director for Akron Children’s Health Collaborative (ACHC) in Akron, Ohio. Kris has over 30 years of leadership and practice experience at Akron Children’s Hospital in outpatient and inpatient settings. During her tenure, she has served as a staff nurse, clinical coordinator, nurse manager, clinical nurse specialist, nurse practitioner, operations manager, and clinical and operational director. Kris received her BSN and her MSN degrees from the University of Akron. She is a certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner in ambulatory care. Kris served on the AAACN board of directors for 6 years. She has also served on a number of task forces.
