Lori Nichols is the director of business and partnership development at the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA). In her role at NIMAA, she works with health centers around the country to establish externship partnerships as part of NIMAA's 8-month medical assistant training program. She has over 20 years of experience in health care consulting, training, and capacity building and brings her passion for collaboration, problem-solving, practice transformation, and team-based care to every NIMAA externship partnership. Lori earned her master of science degree in public health from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
