This session discusses how research presents an opportunity for nurses to take the lead in research and quality improvement projects that increase safety, enhance healthcare delivery, and improve patient outcomes and walk participants through the drafting of a research proposal that can be used to design and conduct a project in their practice setting. Interactive feedback and real-time practice crafting a research proposal gives participants the confidence they need to skillfully develop a research or evidence-based practice proposal to lay the groundwork for their project.
