Calli Wood currently serves as the director of nursing over clinical education and professional practice at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. She has over 16 years of experience in the nursing field, with over 15 years of that serving in ambulatory care. She is a graduate of Texas A&M's inaugural MSN Ed program, is certified by the ANCC in nursing professional development, and is currently pursuing her DNP degree in executive nursing leadership from Texas Christian University. She has presented at many AAACN past conferences, has served on multiple task forces within the AAACN and ANPD, and was a contributing author to the AAACN position statement on the role of the RN in ambulatory care nursing.
