Dr. Sheila Haas is Dean and Professor Emeritus of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing at Loyola University in Chicago. She is also the Nursing Research Consultant at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Haas does research, publication, and consulting in the areas of translational research and evidence-based practice, clinical ladders, work redesign and evaluation, differentiated practice. evidence-based practice, and nursing intensity systems. Most recently, Dr. Haas received the Margaretta Madden Styles President’s Award from ANCC Board President at the 2016 National Magnet Conference, Outstanding Alumna Award from St. Louis University, and was appointed to the ANCC Research Council.
