Kathleen Martinez has been a pediatric nurse for over 30 years and has been lucky enough to specialize in telephone triage for more 20 years. She is a past president of AAACN. She has served as a member of the AAACN ambulatory care nursing sensitive indicators task force and collaborated on the “Ambulatory Care Nursing Sensitive Indicators" article published in Nursing Economic$ on "The Role of the RN in Ambulatory Care Position Statement" and has presented at numerous AAACN conferences. Her passion is quality and patient safety. She is also a certified EBP mentor and infection preventionist.
