Author Eileen M. Esposito DNP, MPA, BSN, RN AMB-BC, CPHQ

Dr. Eileen Esposito is VP of ambulatory care clinical practice for Catholic Health of Long Island, a six-hospital health system with over 100 employed physician practice locations and an ACO composed of over 2,100 employed and IPA providers. In her role, Dr. Esposito focuses on strategies and solutions to bring organizational operations into alignment with newer models of care and reimbursement. This includes analysis and workflow modifications to assure success with MIPS/APM for the ACO and value-based purchasing contracts across payers, providers and sites of service. Dr. Esposito is well-versed in health policy and helps providers to understand the paradigm shift behind the need to transition from an RVU-driven volume-based system to one where value and appropriateness drive efficient patient-centered care. As a published author, Dr. Esposito lectures both nationally and internationally on various quality topics. She is currently an appointed member of NQF’s National Quality Partners Leadership Consortium and is serving on the action team focused on determining ways to measure the quality of virtual care effectiveness. She is on the AAACN board of directors and and serves on the board of the Nursing Alliance of Quality Care.
