RNPC Grant Coordinator and Liaison, Davenport University
Dr. Heather Hunt is the coordinator-liaison for Davenport University’s registered nurses in primary care (RNPC) health grant initiative. In this role, she serves as a liaison between Davenport University and various ambulatory care clinical partners, while also assisting with the coordination of 2nd-, 3rd-, and 4th-year collegiate nursing students participating in a unique opportunity to introduce them to the complexities of ambulatory care nursing and military veteran health care. Heather has earned five collegiate degrees, four of which are in nursing, including an associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate. Heather has worked as a registered nurse for 19 years and has 6 years of experience in higher education where she has taught a variety of clinical and in-seat courses within the Davenport University College of Health Professions Nursing and Allied Health programs.
